Al Qaeda in Syria video come to light. It shows al Qaeda in Syria holding up the al-Qaeda flag. Some of them wave the green-white-and-black flag of the CIA-run Syrian rebellion.

The UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon's has stated that al-Qaeda was responsible for the blast outside one of Syria's top intelligence services on 10 May, which reportedly killed 55 people and wounded 372.

"A few days ago there was a huge, serious, massive terrorist attack. I believe that there must be al-Qaida behind it," Ban said at the UN headquarters in New York. "This has created again very serious problems."

According to The Guardian, Syrian security forces have caused many of the blasts.

"Across the swath of northern Syria visited by the Guardian this week, anger at the idea of al-Qaeda being responsible was evident among the Free Syria Army and locals.

!'Show me one man from al-Qaeda and I will buy you lunch,' said Firas Abu Hamza, a rebel commander in Jabal al-Zawiya.

"'There are no [Gulf] Arabs here helping us and there are no weapons coming in.'"

The Guardian article is written by Martin Chulov  - a journalist formerly with Zionist Rupert Murdoch's The Australian.
